What you need to know before you book

We are keeping ticket types very simple for the conference; it has been heavily subsidised by funding from the Protected Landscapes Partnership, and we hope everyone will be able to attend all three days. Your choice is therefore simple: residential or non-residential?


If you would like to pay by credit card, all you need to do is register on Eventbrite and pay. 

If you would like to pay by invoice, contact Anna Trant on before booking and she will arrange for an invoice to be sent to you.

Booking deadlines

We have accommodation booked at the Holiday Inn. However, we expect to exceed the hotel’s bedroom capacity, and so we also have rooms held at the Premier Inn which is a 6-minute/2.5 mile drive away. 

Rooms will be allocated at the Holiday Inn on a first-come-first-served basis, so it pays to book early!

Residential ticket sales close on 23rd July. 
At this point we will hand back any unused rooms to the hotel, so we may have space for non-residential places, but we won’t be able to provide accommodation and you will need to book your own.

Non-residential ticket sales will close on 23rd August, or earlier if we reach capacity.

Ticket Prices

Residential: £175
Non-residential: £100

The conference is VAT-exempt.

Evening meals: Dinner is included  if you purchase a residential ticket.
If you choose a non-residential ticket but would like to join us for dinner, it's £30 per evening, bookable via Eventbrite when you purchase your conference ticket.

Terms & Conditions

If the National Landscapes Association has to cancel the conference and can’t move it online:

  • You will receive a full refund.

If there are government restrictions in place that prevent face-to-face events:

  • We will endeavour to move the event online rather than cancel.

If you want to cancel your ticket:

  • If you wish to cancel your place, in the first instance we will ask if there is anyone else in your team who is able to attend in your stead. If there is, we will transfer your registration to them.

  • If that isn’t possible, we will issue a refund provided your cancellation reaches us before 23rd July. After this date we will have committed to all conference costs and won’t be able to issue a refund.
